Cherry blossoms Spring photo home decor pink 8x8" printMeet the photographer behind ImagesByCW - I am Claudia, a 40+ German by birth, but a world traveler by choice, having lived and worked in Germany, Switzerland, Australia and the USA. I moved to New Jersey, USA with my American husband almost exactly one year ago, which is when I decided to give my art in the form of photography more room and made it my full time job. I have built my own website ImagesByCW, where you can find my portfolio, blog etc. and I have opened my shop on Etsy. I find it very important to have an online presence and be active in social marketing, hence I can also be found on twitter and facebook for all the latest news. But to create images that preserve our memories or to create a piece of art from a photo is what I love doing. What I do best and what I would love to share with you.

Etsy Time Saving Tip

I have started using the free accounting software 'Outright', which helps keeping everything up to date.
If you haven't done so already you should check it out. Also, do not overlook the simple things on the Etsy website. To name just one, the pretty basic, but easily overlooked 'shipping profiles', where you can batch apply or change shipping costs for similar items. Helps a lot when costs change or you realize that you are over or undercharging.

Other Time Saving Tip

That is a tough one, because everything seems pretty normal and obvious to yourself, doesn't it?! Oh right, here is another obvious one: Let receipts and invoices etc. not pile up and when a (tax) deadline approaches stress out over finding and entering everything. Do this, at least, every week depending on how many sales/purchases you have to keep track of.
